The Apache Hadoop consists of the following modules:

·    Hadoop Common – This module consist of  libraries and utilities which can be needed by other Hadoop modules

·    Hadoop MapReduce – This module is a programming model for large scale high level data processing.

·    Hadoop YARN – It is a resource management platform responsible for managing resources in clusters and later can be used for scheduling of user’s applications.

·     Hadoop Distributed File System – It is a back end of Hadoop. It is a distributed file system that stores data on commodity machines.
